Talk will include:
- Overview of the diseases AML and MDS.
- Pre-clinical (tissue culture and animal model data) that indicate that pharmacologic doses of Vitamin D or its analogs (deltanoids), with or without potentiating agents such as carnosic acid, or MAP Kinase pathway inhibitors, can differentiate myeloid leukemia cells.
- The review of the clinical trial data to data, and suggest the structure of future clinical trials using deltanoids.
