Proteomics approaches used in the studies of mitochondrial biogenesis and homeostasis in Arabidopsis thaliana and Dictyostelium discoideum. Purified mitochondrial proteins or total cellular proteins were subjected to different proteomic technologies for protein detection and quantification. Global proteomics approach was used for global proteome/ phosphoproteome mapping of the Arabidopsis and Dictyostelium mitochondria, while the Arabidopsis seed protein extract.
