“Impact of sequence diversity in zinc finger motifs on their coordination properties, structure and stability”, mgr inż. Katarzyna Kluska, Department of Chemical Biology.
Supervisor: prof. dr hab. Artur Krężel.

Presentation will be in Polish.

The CCHH zinc finger motif is by far the best-characterized class of zinc fingers which frequently occurs in human zinc proteome. This motif has a highly conserved amino acids sequence and during zinc binding adopts specific ββα fold. Numerous studies have shown that sequential, structural and thermodynamics factors impact complex stability and as a consequence influence zinc fingers function.
