July 20-25, 2022 – ranking preparation
July 26, 2022 – final decision on admissions
- Entry requirements: Grade* at the level of at least 60%#of the maximum grade in the following subjects:
• mathematics or physics (a subject with a higher score is considered)
• related subjects in case of lack of one of the above.
* grades from the document entitling to undertake undergraduate studies (high school certificate, examination, diploma) are taken into account.
# If necessary, the evaluation scales are converted into a percentage scale according to the guidelines of the International Office of the University of Wroclaw.
Candidates meeting the entry requirements are ranked according to the sum of the percentage points obtained in the three subjects listed above. The decision on admission to studies depends on the position on the ranking list. Candidates are admitted within the admission limit.
- English language requirements
- Required documents
- Tuition fees
- Useful information for full degree students
- Recruitment schedule
• certificate entitling to undertake studies;
• B2 English language level
Candidates are admitted within the admission limit, based on the position on the ranking list.
The results of matriculation examinations (“new matura”) in the subjects listed in the table are taken into account.
The result of the exam, expressed as the number of percentages obtained, is multiplied by the appropriate factor included in the table. If the exam in a given subject was taken at two levels, the better result will be taken into account.
The ranking list will be based on the sum of the points obtained. If the candidate has not passed one of the exams listed below, s/he receives 0 points for this exam.
|exam||ordinary level factor||advanced level factor|
|physics or mathematics||0,5||1|
In case more than one candidate obtains the same total number of recruitment points, the order in the ranking list is determined by the number of points obtained at first in chemistry, then in mathematics or physics, and finally in biology.
Candidates who hold an IB diploma are admitted to studies on the same terms as candidates with the “new matura”. For the purposes of the ranking, candidates with the IB diploma receive recruitment points equal to the maximum number of points in the recruitment for a given field of study (N=300) multiplied by the number of points obtained on the IB diploma divided by 45.
Candidates holding foreign high school diploma take part in the (on-line) INTERVIEW (biology and chemistry with particular emphasis on molecular biology and organic chemistry at the high school level). Each candidate’s performance is assessed on a scale of 0 to 50 points. Earning of at least 20 points is required to pass the interview. Candidates with positive interview results are ranked according to the points obtained.
