We warmly invite all faculty members and students to attend a faculty seminar, during which an open guest lecture will be held: “RNA-based approaches to tackle metastasis and aging (?): a lesson from miR-214 story.”
The lecture will be delivered by Dr. Francesca Orso (Department of Translational Medicine, University of Piemonte Orientale, Novara, Italy), invited by Prof. Rafał Bartoszewski as part of the Erasmus+ programme.
The lecture will take place on May 13 at 11:00 am in room 1.05.

The seminar presents our research on miRNAs that play a role in the progression of melanoma and breast cancer. It will specifically highlight miR-214, a pro-metastatic miR-214, from its initial discovery to the development of targeted anti-miR-214 therapies.
We encourage you to explore our guest’s academic interests and publications on the website of her home University.
